Eric Wolk, DC, CCSP

Dr. Eric Wolk is a Chiropractic Physician and owner/founder of Great Lakes Physical Medicine.

He completed his undergraduate degree at Pennsylvania State University with a major in Kinesiology. He is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and holds his license with the Ohio State Chiropractic Association.

Some of his clinical successes include treating professional and amateur athletes, professional musicians, theatre actors and staff, along with saving many patients from unnecessary surgeries and medications. Prior to founding Great Lakes Physical Medicine, Dr. Wolk treated patients as Chiropractor and Junior Partner at Allied Health and Chiropractic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Lauren Federer, MA, CSCS

Lauren Federer is a former D1 athlete and certified strength and conditioning specialist with over 12 years of experience in the health and wellness field. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida in Exercise Science with a minor in Public Health. In addition, she obtained her Masters in Sport and Recreation Management at Kent State University. 

Lauren not only specializes in strength and conditioning, but also focuses on injury prevention and recovery. She brings both tailored and skilled sport performance training and personal training to Great Lakes Physical Medicine and is looking forward to working with new clients.

Logan Wright, Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Logan Wright is an Exercise Physiologist at Great Lakes Physical Medicine, where he works closely with Dr. Eric Wolk to deliver integrative care for patients seeking relief from musculoskeletal conditions and chronic pain. A former collegiate Division 2 baseball player, Logan brings a strong foundation in exercise physiology, clinical exercise prescription, and a performance-driven mindset to our Clinic at Great Lakes Physical Medicine. 

Logan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Walsh University and also graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Tiffin University with Academic Honors. With a background in personal training and rehabilitation settings, Logan is committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based interventions and functional movement strategies. He is certified in CPR, First Aid, Personal Training, and Rock-Tape application. His professional approach is rooted in a blend of rehabilitation science, sports performance, and hands-on therapeutic care. Logan has a passion for going above-and-beyond when it comes to patient care.

Makenna Bretz, LMT

Makenna Bretz is a licensed massage therapist who takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to bodywork. Working in collaboration with the chiropractic team, she focuses on helping patients relieve pain, restore movement, and enhance overall physical function. Makenna specializes in therapeutic, deep tissue, and myofascial release techniques, using a blend of modalities tailored to each patient’s specific needs and treatment goals.

Her approach emphasizes the connection between muscular health and spinal alignment, aiming to support and extend the benefits of chiropractic adjustments. Whether addressing chronic tension, injury recovery, or everyday stress, Makenna creates a calm, supportive environment where patients can feel cared for and understood. She is passionate about helping people not only find relief but also build long-term body awareness and resilience.

When she’s not in the office, Makenna enjoys learning new techniques, exploring wellness practices, and spending time outdoors to recharge and stay inspired in her work.
